The REAL photo shoot! - Part 1

I did an earlier mix up of "Photo shoot on the stairs", doing the shoot outside (here's the post Photo shoot time ). But, I figured I wanted to get our normal indoor photo shoot so, it was time to give it a try.

Here are our past indoor photo shoots for 2015:

And now foster dog King has his indoor photo shoot!

D'light asks: "Really... we doing this again?!"

The boys gather...

"Catty, foster mom says come on!"

Catty quickly comes to attention but, we've lost D'light!

Not a good picture of D'light but,  I love King's stance and his tounge sticking out!

Catty is not to be outdone by King!
D'light deciding if this is worth the trouble
Good boy King for paying attention

Catty says "Enough monkey business, I'm at full attention so give me my food reward!"

Silly dogs - Catty and King are excited about the high value reward - D'light says "Whatever"!

All three say "Here's you great photo of the day!"

Of course they all got an amazing food reward for their hard work.

Stay tuned for an amusing part two of this photo shoot!

One Flea everyone loves!

As many know I'm a huge fan of all the staff at Urban Animal .  They know me well since I bring my personal dogs and all our foster dogs to see them.  However, I really adore Dr. Cherri Trusheim.  Dr. Tursheim has been beyond helpful with some of our tougher foster dogs, she was super supportive of all the vet prep that I did with D'light and she and the clinic are very pro rescue.

Lucky for us that Dr. Trusheim was working the day King and I visited and Dr. Trusheim had her 8 month old, 4lb Chihuahua (Flea) at the office!

I met Flea back in February, the first week Dr. Trusheim had her - talk about teeny tiny.  Baby Flea was found on the side of the road with a couple of her litter mates.  Her litter mates had passed away leaving just little Flea in the container they were dumped in. Flea came to the clinic for care before going to the shelter and that's when Dr. Tursheim and her wife Taya Maes decided to adopt this little one.  Flea lives with her two 70+ pound Pitbull sisters (Floyd and Betty White) and they are a trio.  When out on walks they get lots of head turns and comments!

King weighs in at 9 pounds and he looks like a big dog next to 4 pound Flea.

"Lets play!"

Cute video's of the little ones:

I love Flea's pawing and the the butt bump at King

Flea showing off her moves and King's tail just keeps a going

This was a fun vet visit for both of us!

Off to the vet we go!

"Foster mom says we are going on adventure"

Time to get King's microchip inserted at the vet office.

We headed over to Urban Animal and King was very excited to meet all the humans at the front of the clinic.  He was a popular little dude with staff and other folks.

Hanging out in the exam room

Lots to smell in this exam room

King hears someone outside the door

"I hope you're coming in so I can say hi!"

"Lets see if sitting here gets them coming in to see me"

What a good cute boy!

"Oh I think someone is coming to see me!"

"Time to rest in foster mom's lap"

"Hi foster mom! Get my picture!"

Stay tuned to see the little gal King met at the vet!

Off to work!

King headed to work with his foster dad (at Pier 70 in Seattle)  and oh the fun!

So many smells coming from Elliot Bay

Foster dad has to do some work so, King had a turkey chew.  After the chew, King laid down while foster dad got stuff done.

Then it was time to meet the gentle giant named Logan. Logan is a very sweet and gentle Golden Retriever who was in training as a seeing eye dog but, didn't pass all that was needed to be a seeing eye guide dog.  So when this happens the dogs are adopted out to the general public.  From what I understand, it's a long list of people wanting to adopt these dogs since they receive so much training and have excellent temperament.  And what's really wonderful is that Guide Dogs For The Blind trains their dogs using positive reinforcement.

King says "You're huge!"

Appropriate sniffs

King going in for a better sniff

"I like you!"

And time to head back into the office to work!

After a while it was time for a outside break and King and foster dad cruised the Sculpture Park.

King did excellent with all the people, dogs and other moving objects.

"I love this place!"

"What are we doing next foster dad?"

They find lots of rocks and logs

Fun stuff to climb on!

Then it was time go back to work.  King decided it was time to nap!

King did amazing and he would be an excellent dog to take to work as he did great with the new people, other dogs and all the environmental change.

King the love bug

King loves laps and he loves touch!  King also likes men and women alike.  He's a little dude at 9lbs so, he fits perfectly on most laps.

Loving the ear touches from foster dad

King quickly relaxes

Such a sweet, sweet boy!

Photo shoot time!

I always get a photo shoot post of Catty, D'light and the foster dog in our house. This time I thought I'd mix up the location!

"What are we doing?"

"Why do you have those amazing things out?!"

What's the amazing thing?
Wishes by The Honest Kitchen!  Catty is a garbage can and will eat anything but, D'light and King are picky boys... and they both LOVE Wishes!

"Let's do this!"

I need stairs to do a proper photo shoot so, we need to regroup

Catty says "Pay attention D'light and where is King?!"

King not sure what we are doing but, Catty and D'light know what's up

King says "I'm here!"

Treat is too high...

Now the treat is too low!

The best shoot of three good looking rats!
Look at those beautiful sits by Catty and King

As usual D'light is quickly loosing interest

King thinks this was a great game with delicious treats!

This was a fun change and everyone was thrilled with their Wishes treat!
