Busy Sunday!

All three dogs had a busy schedule that started at 8:30am.  This included Coccinelle escorting me into Home Depot to pick up some light bulbs.  Normally I wouldn't take new foster into a setting like this but, given how Coccinelle acts in busy environments I figured we'd give it a try.  If Coccinele was showing stress signs we would have immediately departed the store.

"Come on foster mom!"

Coccinelle does the cutest little dance - make me laugh!

And into Home Depot we go

So much to take in...

Her tail was a wagin the whole time!

You'd think she'd been in this store a thousand times.

Coccinelle LOVES to greet people and she can't understand why this guy didn't want to say hi!

"Come on foster mom - I need to say hi to these guys!"

"This is a ton of fun!"

Photo bomb since Coccinelle thought I needed a kiss!

Cute little gal and her tail sure did get a work out!

More dancing!!

"Here's the light bulbs!"

After greeting the Home Depot staff and paying it was time to head back to the car.

And why were we at Home Depot early on Sunday morning?  Why for Nose Work of course!  Catty and I have our drop in class every Sunday morning and this week we were at Home Depot.

Waiting our turn...

Taking in all the activity - Catty has made huge strides with her environmental sensitivities thanks to Nose Work and our rotating Nose Work classes.  Our instructor (Erica Wells) is amazing in finding us so many cool places to search!

And here are our search areas of the morning:

Starting at the yellow lines - the rest (up to the fence) is the search area -  4 hides!

All of this back to the wall - 1 hide

Whole area - 1 hide

2 hides - search area is to the blue box, everything else in play

Whole area - 2 hides

Start at yellow line - 1 hide

And what does all the Nose Work get you?

A very tired Catty girl!

What about D'light?  Well that silly boy went with mom and dad to Seward Park to hunt critters.  Here's a preview of an upcoming blog post. This was a 3 hour adventure that was lots of fun for all three of us!
