Bésoleil, K and I attended a Seattle Rat Terrier meet up and can you say rat terrier fun! There were well over 30 ratties in attendance and a load of NR alumni which is always tons of fun. Our former foster dogs: Reynvann (now Rain) and Boushey aka Boo were there. Both boys are doing rat-tastic and it was grat seeing so many NR alumni in attendance.
Bésoleil did great and she really enjoyed being held by Reynvann's human sisters who are very dog savvy. K had a bit of a tough time. She was good with the dogs but, all those people stressed her out. It's always a challenge to assess how much is too much for a dog but, I felt K was doing ok as long as I made sure to ask people not to touch her. This I know was hard for folks given how cute she is. I appreciate all the people being respectful of what I asked and for giving K the space she needed.
K did get to meet a "special" couple and their rattie Bogart for the 3rd time - stay tuned to hear about wonderful news for sweet K.
