Both Reynvaan & Gramercy love to go for walks!

The first time taking a new foster for a walk is always an experience!  A lot of the dogs have never worn a harness let alone been on leash.

Did you say we're going for a walk?!
Saturday morning was a challenge as both boys were all over the place.  I'm sure a lot of it was due to the new smells but clearly this was a new experience for them.  Gramercy's short body doesn't fit well in a wonder walker harness so he sports a Puppia soft harness.  This works well as he's not a puller.  Reynvaan is wearing a wonder walker and after 4 minutes of him zig zaging every which way I clipped the leash to the front of his harness.  Tada -- this is why I love wonder walkers! By our Sunday afternoon walk, Reynvaan had graduated to the back clop of his harness.  He's one smart by and you can see both boys really enjoy the walk.

We live in an active area in Seattle so lots of cars, electric and regular buses & garbage trucks.  So far the boys were not bothered by the noise of the city.  Did I mention they're doing great!
With all the walking they did get some sniff breaks in which as you can see they enjoyed.

Something smells good!

more sniffing

and more!

  1. Great update! The wonder walker looks like a very clever invention. Happy dogs...
