D'light was ready to take full advantage of our last morning at our in-laws!
"D"light can you wait a little bit while I eat breakfast?"
He lets me know what he thinks of that plan!
"Catty, you want to go outside?"
Her face makes it pretty clear what she thinks!
She was more than happy to rest on the cozy chair under the blanket.
After some breakfast, we went back outside while Catty rested up for our drive home.

And off he goes...
Gotta check everything out
He hears the little birds
Time to go see where they are hiding out
Look who has found a rock that makes a great place to perch!
He's pretty excited with himself for finding this spot
Patiently waiting and then he hears something below
"I'm onto you!"
Head first he goes!
He's really excited now!
In complete terrier hunting mode
Lucky for the little critters he's not a skilled hunter!
His hunting skills don't hold him back and he's back to searching...
Back into the plants!
He held this position for a good 20 seconds - just waiting and hoping something would scurry out!
Back up on the rock perch he goes.
We've been out for at least an hour and you'd think he'd be getting tired.
But, he's not too tired!
I tell him that it's time to go as we need to pack up...
"One more search mom!"
This concludes our trip down to Oregon! Both dogs had a fantastic time and no doubt are looking forward to the next trip which I'm sure will include lots of fun times!
