New dogs arriving tonight

Yippy!! We have three rescued ratties on their way up to Washington.  The other state coordinator and I will be meeting transport late tonight. Then I will overnight these three cuties.  Saturday morning will be meeting a foster parent, a pet sitter and another foster parent who is providing transport to Cle Elem of one of the three pups.  Talk about rescue railroad!

Rescue #1:  Meet Leonetti aka Leo

This pup arrived at the shelter as a stray with skin issues. Because the shelter's hospital area was overloaded and he needed a treatment that would take awhile so, he was high on the list for euthanasia. He's been getting care for his skin infection at a temp foster home in Calfornia.
Leo is going to be spending next week with one of our petsitters. The plan is for him to come to us for fostering.  We just needed a little bit of time before taking Leo and we wanted to get him up here on this transport. So thank you to his pet sitter!

Rescue #2:  Give a Washington welcome to tiny Sissy

Another sweet little stray who is looking forwward to relaxing and settling into foster care. Sissy will be fostered in Yakima, Washington and you can track her on her foster moms blog

Rescue #3: Give a big hello to Olivia!

This fun loving and confident gal was a stray in Central CA in an overcrowded shelter. She will no doubt find a home quickly given her great personality!  Olivia will be fostered in Marysville, Washington.
