D'light heads to Golden Gardens

I adore our Nose Work instructor (Erica Wells) not just because she's amazing but, because she locates great places for our drop Nose Work in classes.  

D'light and Catty have been attending drop in classes since January. They passed out of intro to Nose Work so, the next step was drop in classes since they are "on odor". Meaning - they search for the 3 essential oils (birch, anise and clove).  

On this morning our class was at Golden Gardens Park 

We did a number of searches and it was a very busy location for an early Sunday morning!

"I think it's hidden in this hole in the log!"

"Yes it is!"

And D'light gets reinforced for finding the odor with his cat toy!

After we were done with Nose Work it was time to check out the area - I'd never been to this park so it was new adventure for both of us.

D'light was ready to go as he always thinks there might be critters where he sees trees.

D'light's first time in the sand and he did great. 

"Any critters around here?"

And then  "What is that?!" 

We stood here for a bit while D'light took in all the smells, sights and sounds.

And he sees the birds!

"This is a lot of fun!"

Sweet D'light had an amazing time and he will no doubt love coming back to this location for Nose Work and beach fun!

I also brought Seven along, planning on giving him a go with this new environment so stay tuned to see his big adventure!
