Lots of dogs wearing the Balance Harness

There's a new harness on the market and I think it's beyond amazing!  The Balance Harness was created by two dynamic women Lori Stevens and Mary Dolan. During the production phase of this harness, I've been lucky enough to do a good amount of testing of this harness with the dogs in our house.  So what makes this harness different than others? Well, there are a number of things:  Every strap is adjustable, it doesn't cut into the elbows of the dog, it give the dog complete body movement and for those dogs lacking hair it doesn't rub when fitted correctly!

Here's the web page to learn more & order the Balance Harness

Here's some great information on Properly Fitting a Harness

Love this diagram showing what we are looking for in a correctly-fitted harness

And don't forget to "like" the  Facebook page for Balance Harness

Below are more pictures where you can see how the harness fits different body shapes and different sizes of dogs.

D'Light a Type A Rat Terrier so longer legs and he weighs about 11 pounds.  He is wearing a size Small Balance Harness.

Seven is a Type B terrier so, shorter legs and he weighs about 14 pounds. Seven is wearing a size Small Balance Harness.

Love that you can connect the leash in front, back, or on both the front and the back (two points of contact).

The top strap comes in a variety of colors

Catty is a Type B Rat Terrier with very little chest hair.  Catty weighs 13 pounds and is wearing a size Extra Small.

Catty has very little chest hair and I've struggled over the year to find a harness that fits her well but, doesn't rub her bald chest. The Balance Harness doesn't rub even after very, very long walks (as you will see in coming posts).

The Balance Harness doesn't rub because: there no seams on the inside of the harness and the buckles either don't make contact with the skin/fur or barely touch skin/fur.

This was about 3 hours into our 4 hour walk and the Balance Harness is working great!

Looks good too!

And for the itty bitty dogs there is a Balance Harness size XSmall 3/8 inches.

We overnighted Skipper another New Rattitude foster dog so I had him test out the XS 3/8 when it was in early production.  Skipper was a little guy - around 5-6 pounds.

Do notice that Skipper is wearing a black collar & and tags that are not part of the Balance Harness.

And here's Molly (my sister's dog) a 100 pound Great Dane wearing the Balance Harness.  Molly is wearing a size Large Balance Harness.

Looks and fits Molly great!
