Royal's meal time

Royal has been eating his meals out of the mini green feeder! This is a new size and it's perfect for smaller breed dogs.

Royal eats 1/3 cup of food  twice a day and it fits nicely in the mini

Here's our first review of the standard green feeder - Thanks to past foster boy Gramercy as well as to Catty and D'light for testing it out Look what has arrived

 

 We have been building up to Royal trying this feeder out.  When Royal first came to us, eating food out of anything was hard.  So we started with him eating kibble on his mat then we moved to him eating out of a slow bowl and now to the green feeder.  With a nervous/fearful dog you want to build up slowly to new items.  Here's  Royal's safe spot post

 

Royal was initally a bit concerned about eating out of the feeder but, with it on his safe spot he gave it a try. He quickly figured out this was a pretty cool thing!

This feeder does a good job of slowing down Royal who tends to be a gobbler of his food.
