Changes & thanks....

Having four dogs at our house is proving to be pretty hard on Dandy. This was something we were worried about but, decided to give it a go. As most folks know, Dandy is a pretty sensitive boy -- all the commotion and change has stressed him out. Thanks to our amazing team, we had a plan in place if Dandy struggled with the two new boys. So, starting tomorrow we are going to implement that plan with Owen heading to an open foster spot in Everett. This is going to give Dandy some relief and work out really well for sweet little Owen. Owen's new foster family has two ratties who love to play and wrestle so this will be fun times for all of them.

Rescue work can be hard.  There are lots of tough decisions to made and it can get emotionally exhausting. One of the things that keeps me going is the teamwork and flexibility of the PNW (Pacific Northwest) NR team. Everyone works with the same goal of supporting each other for the dogs. We talk amongst ourselves about the dogs, brainstorm around issues that dogs are having and help each other around showcasing the dogs for potential adopters.  None of us has to go through the trials of rescue alone.   So many thanks to our team - you all rock and make the hard work a little easier!
