Seven tries out the long line - Part 2

Here's Part 1 of Seven tries out the long line if you missed it.

Seven was fascinated by the fountain!  He stood like for a couple of minutes just watching the fountain.

And then he realized there was water below!

More watching -

Then he decides to it's time to walk around the pool of water!

Trying to decide what to do!  the pool was about a 2 ft drop and you can see him trying to see if he can figure out how to get down there.

Then it was time for some very adorable photos!

For those who don't know about the number on the New Rattitude tag - Seven is the 1,447th dog that New Rattitude has rescued since the rescue started back in 2008.

And then it was onto our next adventure

"What are we doing now?"

Before arriving to the park my plan was to work on recall.  After about 2 minutes I realized I needed a different plan.  We will get to recall but, we need to do some foundation work first.  So a change in plan was needed and it was time to work on settling and relaxing!

"Really you are just going to sit there?"

Time to relax and enjoy the park

What Seven thinks of this plan

Seven was given a good deal of reinforcement (praise, touch & food) for staying calm while we relaxed.   He did great!

"Ok this isn't so bad"

Nice body shot - he's a stocky beefy boy.
He's starting to get a tucked waste line and we are getting closer to his ideal weight.

"Yummy treats you brought along!"

And after some relaxing time it was time to head back the car and home.  We will certainly be back to this park!
