Boo Boo Loon

Yesterday Syncline headed to the vet for her spay surgery.  For the life of me I could not find my inflatable cloud by Kong so, I stopped off at a local pet store to see if I could get another one.  What I found was the Boo Boo Loon.  I'm a sucker for new dog stuff so of course I needed to get this & give it a try.

I was getting the box open and Mr. busy body wanted to see what I was doing.  Gramercy always wants to be a part of what is going on.  I started to inflate the boo boo loon and Gram thought this thing was a new toy!

Knowing that Gram rolls with pretty much everything I decided to have him test it out!  As you can see it's not bad at all. Although I think Gramercy was disappointed as he was expecting something fun.

"This isn't a toy!"

I would not recommend the Boo Boo Loon be used with a high energy dog or super active puppy.  Gramercy seemed more comfortable moving in this over the kong cloud and the cozy cone.  I think some of that was because you don't fully inflate the boo boo loon so it's not as restrictive.  I also would never leave a dog unattended wearing any inflatable e-collar.

I headed off to the vet to pick up Syncline and she was pretty groggy from the spay.  Here she is at home resting in her crate.

The good news for Syncline is that she had no interest in messing with her incision.  So that means when we are home, no cone and no boo boo loon for her!

Not feeling so hot but, she did have a very cute little yellow bandage on right front paw.

Sweet girl resting.  She didn't make a peep all night.

Syncline ate her breakfast this morning and then just wanted to relax and rest on this nice soft bed.

Such a sweet girl...

with a very pretty face!

One of many things Syncline loves...

Here's more Syncline cuteness at the dog park - this girl loves balls!  The grass was pretty long and I think she was a bit tired as she'd been playing for about an hour at this point.  So, a quick rest where no one could steal her ball was what she was looking for.

Pretty girl!

Syncline finds another fun toy!

Syncline is like most of the fosters that come to us -- likely very little experience with toys.  So when they find the two toy baskets it's a major deal!  As you can see this toy pretty much blew her mind and I will tell you she is a very, very smart rattie.

"Wow there's food in this thing!"

Syncline figured this food toy out in no time flat

Having sooo much fun!

Gramercy, Syncline & pink bunny

Gramercy says "I heard you love pink bunny, do you want to play?"

And the fun begins - if you're wondering what Gramercy is doing in the first part of the video, he sees a fly! D'light is a bit worried by all of this thus the thrusting of his baby in my face.

Rattie's & other funny small breed dogs

As I said, we were at the dog park bright and early on Saturday.  Below is sweet Syncline taking a rest after lots of playing with Pixie and Skip's blue ball!

After about 45 minutes, more small dogs arrived and as you will see everyone did great together!

Check out sweet foster girl Sierra in the center, she's available for adoption click here to see her foster mom's blog

Pixie, Syncline & D'light wonder what breed of dog are now arriving...

It's a bunch of pugs!

Here's the meeting of Buddy the rotund pug

D'light was captivated by Buddy which was hilarious!  You can see D'light really wanted Buddy to get into a game of chase with him. Syncline was more than ready for some running fun.   Buddy wasn't ready to attempt any running with the rattie's!

Sycline moved on to play with a ball since Buddy wasn't moving.  But wait! Buddy the rotund boy surprises everyone much to D'light's delight!

And Syncline gets Buddy moving! There's sweet foster girl Sierra joining in as well

Buddy was pretty much done but, D'light says "Look at this new fella, wonder if he will play?"

I'm not one to stick my face into a dogs face but, this pug just wouldn't leave me alone while I was getting in my bag.  He basically kept head butting me - why I don't know other than to show me is ball.  I took the chance of giving him some very close sweet nothing talk.  He was a very funny fella who snorted and snotted in my face for that sweet talk.   You can see Pixie in the corner wishing for some loves too!

Syncline says: "Shhh... don't tell Skip"

One thing we quickly found out about Syncline is that she loves to play with balls!   Throw a ball and she will go, go, go.  She would be a very easy dog to teach bringing back the back to you - she doesn't know that right now.  One of the many things I love about fostering is seeing the uniqueness of each dog.  Some love to play ball, some love puzzles and the list goes on and on.

For many of you who have attended any of the rattie meet ups you've met sweet Skip and his blue ball.  He loves this ball and he was such a gentleman letting little Syncline play with his ball!

Below is Syncline following Skip as he carries he blue ball - the love affair begins...

"Look what I have! Shhh... don't tell Skip"

"Oh blue ball I can see why Skip loves you"

"I'm having sooo much fun with blue ball!"

"Uh oh... Skip knows I have his ball"

Sweet Skip letting Sycline play with his ball!

Below is Syncline running around with the blue ball!  Pixie and D'light don't know why this blue ball is so popular.  Notice Skip letting puppy girl Syncline have fun with is ball but, keeping an eye on where it goes. For anyone worried, Skip left the park with blue ball!

Here's funny boy skip and his blue ball at a previous rattie meet up!

This video is a reminder to those who are videoing at the dog park to remember that more than one may come when you whistle...

How cute is Gramercy?!

Gramercy LOVES this cave bed and we often refer to him as "Cave Man"!  He's so good about me taking pictures of him - sweet little muffin.

"I'm resting what do you want with that camera?"

"All right, I'm waking up... give me a minute"

"How do I look -- hopefully you are getting a good shot of me since you woke me up"

"My side profile is good too so make sure to get it"
