Viva heads to the Columbia River Gorge - Cascade Locks

 
On our way back to Seattle we have two stops (that turn out to be three) to make.

 
We head back over to Cascade Locks 




We check out the large bronze crouching cougar called “Silent Descent”






The same artist above also made the below bronzes and here's some info about them 





Viva wasn't so sure about these two!




Lewis and Clark made there way through the gorge with the help of Sacagawea.




Seaman, the Newfoundland dog belonging to Meriwether Clark.

We move to the locks






Cascade Locks museum




Lots and lots of pretty hosta




And lots of azaleas and rhododendrons in bloom








Time to go and explore Bonneville fish hatchery and dam!
