If you have been looking around over the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed spring is just around the corner. We headed over to the Arboretum to see what is blooming!
We've a had a lot of rainy days and this was just another rainy day!
Thanks to the rain we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Pretty Camellia
Catty interested in what's been on the ground
A pretty crocus patch
We wander through Rhododendron Glen
As we skirt around the outer edge of arboretum we find a huge log pile.
Catty having herself a grand time!
Catty says "You guys are nuts!"
Brett and D'light have been along this whole trip but, they have been off crittering while Catty and I have been enjoying the blooms in the park.
D'light hops up but, the boy has critter brain!
Scanning...
The best photo we could get with both dogs.
D'light says "Lets go dad, we have critters to hunt"
Catty and I continue to check out the log pile
"What does that sign say?"
"Ok lets go see what else is in bloom!"
"No flowers but, come look at this amazing tree and something else I found!"
We check out The Totem Pole at Washington Park Arboretum
"Stay tuned for Part 2 of this post where we find lots of pretty blooms!"
