Syncline says: "Shhh... don't tell Skip"

One thing we quickly found out about Syncline is that she loves to play with balls!   Throw a ball and she will go, go, go.  She would be a very easy dog to teach bringing back the back to you - she doesn't know that right now.  One of the many things I love about fostering is seeing the uniqueness of each dog.  Some love to play ball, some love puzzles and the list goes on and on.

For many of you who have attended any of the rattie meet ups you've met sweet Skip and his blue ball.  He loves this ball and he was such a gentleman letting little Syncline play with his ball!

Below is Syncline following Skip as he carries he blue ball - the love affair begins...

"Look what I have! Shhh... don't tell Skip"

"Oh blue ball I can see why Skip loves you"

"I'm having sooo much fun with blue ball!"

"Uh oh... Skip knows I have his ball"

Sweet Skip letting Sycline play with his ball!

Below is Syncline running around with the blue ball!  Pixie and D'light don't know why this blue ball is so popular.  Notice Skip letting puppy girl Syncline have fun with is ball but, keeping an eye on where it goes. For anyone worried, Skip left the park with blue ball!

Here's funny boy skip and his blue ball at a previous rattie meet up!

This video is a reminder to those who are videoing at the dog park to remember that more than one may come when you whistle...

How cute is Gramercy?!

Gramercy LOVES this cave bed and we often refer to him as "Cave Man"!  He's so good about me taking pictures of him - sweet little muffin.

"I'm resting what do you want with that camera?"

"All right, I'm waking up... give me a minute"

"How do I look -- hopefully you are getting a good shot of me since you woke me up"

"My side profile is good too so make sure to get it"

Syncline and Pixie having a lot of fun!

This was at the dog park yesterday and look at these two gals play!  Both girls have excellent dog skills as well as being total love bugs.

Sycline asks Pixie  "Do you want to play with me?"

I adore these girls and here are some great action shots!

Syncline loves pink bunny!

Syncline had a bath yesterday (she did great) and her reward was finding a toy she liked!  She found two that tickled her fancy but, pink bunny was her top favorite!

You may be wondering what's up with Syncline's right eye - while she was in her temp CA spot, she and another little rescue gal were having tons of fun and Syncline's eye accidentally got dinged.  She saw the vet and the vet said her eye would be just fine.  So, no worries - it looks worse than it feels and it hasn't slowed her down a bit.
"I LOVE this pink bunny!"

"Did you know it squeaks?!"

Syncline was having so much fun I had to turn off the camera and switch on video - how cute is she?!?!  As you will see in the video she gets more and more excited about pink bunny.

Syncline has a ton of fun and Pixie goes to her foster parents

We met Pixie's foster parents at an early 8:15 this morning to hand off sweet Pixie.  Given how easy Pixie and Syncline are, we decided to meet at Luther Burbank small dog park on Mercer Island.  I really love this spot and at 8:15 on a Saturday we knew it would be empty.    I took Syncline and D'light along as well.  We don't have a fenced yard so this little dog park is great to let our dogs run off energy and of course it's super for socialization as you will soon see.

We arrived and it was very quiet and the dogs did great.  Had anyone struggled we all would have left but, the dogs loved the park, as well as all the dogs and people that stopped by.  We had a couple of folks asking if there was a rat terrier meet up as we had 6 ratties there (Syncline, Pixie, D'light, Skip, Jenny and Sierra)!  You will see in a number of coming post that after being at the park for about 45 minutes, more dogs showed up and we were just about outnumber by pugs.

There was not one single issues and both Syncline and Pixie are amazing dogs who are going to be adopted I'm sure very quickly.

Syncline basically just met me!  And watch her come when I call her.  Smart, smart rattie girl

Syncline has arrived!

All four our Washington's newest dogs arrived and they are all very sweet dog!  Transport arrived pretty late and I picked up Syncline and Pixie.  Both were quiet on the 45 minute drive home and were full of kisses when my husband and I let them out of their crates.  I'm meeting Pixie's foster parents shorty and she is going to be in very good hands.  Stay tuned later today as I will post pictures and video of Syncline.  But beware... she's adorable!

Here's Gramercy resting up for play time with Syncline!  Gramercy loves the sleep cave.

Who's this girl?

It's our newest foster and we've named her Syncline!

Syncline was picked up as a stray by animal control and no one came to find her.  The shelter she was taken to does everything they can to adopt out dogs but again, there are just so many dog, not enough adopters and not enough shelter space.  Syncline's time was quickly running out but, lucky for her we had a foster spot thanks to Syzygy getting adopted so quickly!

Syncline is around a year old, about 9lbs and as you can see pretty cute.  She's said to be playful and sweet.  We can't wait to meet her.

What's with the name you ask? It's from a great Washington winery.

Syncline along with 3 other female ratties will arrive tonight.  To read about the other sweet girls check out their foster mom's blogs located under their pictures.  A bunch of beautiful girls!
